Integgs LLC

They say family comes first, so I’m happy that my brother’s company will be the first honorable mention in The Spotlight Blog. If you’re new here, hey boo! I’m Cari and I’m taking this space to write about topics that make my heart soar, and maybe sore too.

In 2021, Zack Eggleston started Integgs LLC with a big risk ahead of him. On the brink of starting a new family, life confronted him with the choice of freedom or stability. Zack ultimately chose to start Integgs Integrations for his family. Most would have chosen stability ten times over. When asked about the timing of his choice, he answered,

“If I could get my son to take one piece of advice about his career, I’d want him to know that taking risks is required if you want to be successful. If the first cavemen never played with fire, they wouldn’t have learned about all the good it can do. I’m sure they got burned in the process, but eventually they gained confidence and learned to use it as a tool. Once he gains confidence doing something, I hope he won’t be afraid to take the risk, should the opportunity arise.”

Zack graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, and began working as a Workday integrations consultant in 2015. Four years later, he was offered a promotion at Invisors. At this point in his career, he could practice his skills at a higher level. One of his biggest strengths is his passion for others, this is what set him apart as a trusted leader to his peers.

“I care about the people I managed. I aimed to prove this to anyone on the team by always meeting with each member individually, just to figure out what’s important to them. ‘You want a salary of x dollars, and never want to miss little Susie’s games’. Done! It turns out people seem to try a lot harder to make you happy, if you work to make them happy.”

In 2021, Zack felt comfortable taking the jump to manage his own agency. Most of his family doesn’t know this, but shortly before he started his company, he was given the opportunity to join another Workday partner. He explained it would have been a cozy opportunity that included little risk, and pretty much an immediate reward. However, with the support of his partner Ashley, he denied the offer and took a chance on himself. His risk paid off.

Today, Integgs LLC is thriving as an independent Workday Integrations agency. I’m definitely biased as his sister, but I think his story teaches an important lesson on what it means to believe in yourself. In a punny way, he ended our discussion by saying,

Life is a journey, so don’t stop believing… Don’t put that in there though, haha”
